On June 1, 2009, Desert Energy Credit Union officially became part of Pima Federal Credit Union. Together, under the Pima Federal name, we will bring you access to more resources and services, as well as continue providing a secure place to build your financial future.

Every Legend starts with a great story.

In 1951, 16 teachers joined together to create a new kind of financial institution. Their plan was to build a place that truly served their depositors and borrowers. They pooled their money together and started with $84 in total deposits.

They could not have imagined their tiny organization would one day be one of the largest credit unions in Arizona - serving over 50 thousand members with over $300 million in total assets.

Those teachers would be pleased to know that Pima Federal Credit Union has remained true to their original values of putting people before profits.
