Profile: Metro Care Services - Tucson

Metro Care Services has provided non-medical, in-home and community-based, supports to Arizonans since 1995, with the focus on children and adults with developmental disabilities, behavioral health needs and other challenges that often make it difficult for individuals to live a quality of life that every single human being deserves. We believe everyone has a right to live in their own home, and our commitment is to make that a reality, even in the most challenging of circumstances. We contract with various governmental entities including the Department of Economic Security, Division of Developmental Disabilities (DES/DDD), and local behavioral health providers. We also work with private individuals and families that seek our services, as well as organizations seeking trained staff to work with their families.

Currently, we serve more than 1,000 families statewide. We are steadily expanding because of the growing need, as well as our ability to provide quality services to diverse populations in a very timely manner. Our services are available 24 hours per day; seven days per week and our providers are competent and well-trained. We strongly believe in respecting cultural differences and many of our providers are bi-cultural and bi-lingual, especially Spanish.

Our management staff is knowledgeable and dedicated to helping individuals and families access services that exceed customer expectations. Every employee at Metro Care Services considers themselves a voice, as well as an advocate for people with disabilities. Many of our staff are parents of children with disabilities; we take pride in walking the walk!
