Job: Data Validation Specialist

Reviews and audits client medical records to ensure that the documentation contained in the medical records justifies the data billed on the encounters. Provides verbal and written technical assistance and ongoing education to behavioral health providers in order to resolve identified errors

Training and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years experience auditing and/or monitoring healthcare records. Certified Professional Medical Coder (ICD-9) required. Coding experience or ability to demonstrate coding audit standard required.

Positions are open until filled. Applicants must be 21 years of age for Clinical and Residential positions and must be 25 years old to transport. Persons working in some service areas are fingerprinted and must receive clearance. Upon hire, 'all' jobs require an Arizona Motor Vehicle Report and proof of liability insurance.
