Job: Maintenance Technician

Position Description:
Primarily responsible for assuring production machinery is in good working condition.

Position-Related Responsibilities:

>Performs routine weekly and preventive maintenance on production machinery. Assures machines are in good working order, and performs upkeep according to individual machine specifications.
>Installs new production equipment, to include testing and startup.
>Troubleshoots and resolves equipment problems. Resets programming as needed.
>Controls the process of production equipment; assures changed parameters meet specifications for final output.
>Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

>High school diploma or GED required.
>Minimum of 1 year industrial maintenance experience required.
>Knowledge of electrical systems, production flow and PLC relay logic preferred.
>Basic hydraulic and pneumatic systems experience helpful.
>Must be able to demonstrate mechanical aptitude.
